From the trio behind the daring new winery at Domenico Clerico, these wines are a showcase for the new generation of Piedmontese winegrowers. Luciano Racca, export-manager at Clerico, cellar master Gianmatteo (Jimmy) Raineri, and vineyard manager Fabrizio Giraudo. In 2011, their winery moved from Farigliano to Monforte, into the old cellar of Domenico Clerico where Jimmy works as winemaker.

From a single south-facing vineyard in Farigliano, in fact the highest in this small village near Dogliani, the home of Dolcetto – 90% fermented in stainless steel tanks, 10% in small used French oak barrels.

Fermented and aged in stainless steel, and made from organically grown grapes from the Snart vineyard in Monforte d’Alba, named after the Piedmontese word for steep, a baby Barolo if ever there was one!
