Chateau des Eyrins

MARGAUX

This jewel-box of an estate, now owned by Julie and Xavier Gonet-Medeville, combines three plots (3h) within, and two plots (6h) just outside, the commune of Margaux. Their most important parcel is on the famous plateau du Moulin – a triangle (2h) surrounded on two sides by the vines of Chateau Margaux itself. No coincidence since the former owners, the Grangeroux family, were cellar-masters at the famous Chateau for three generations.

Vineyard/varietal: 9 hectares planted to Cabernet Sauvignon 60%, Merlot 35%, and Petit Verdot 5%.

Chateau des Eyrins Margaux…..Co-planted 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. This wine is dense and deep-flavored, intense and racy, and undeniably true to its Margaux terroir.
